Following departure from either Kapalua or Kahului, you fly along the south shore of Maui past Haleakala then cross the Alenuihaha Channel to the northern tip of the Big Island. Fly over Parker Ranch, view the worldclass observatories at the top of Mauna Kea and fly over Kilauea and proceed to the active volcano area. Fly over Hilo and Akaka Falls and follow the Hamakua Coast of the north shore. You then see the spectacular Kohala cliffs and waterfalls, cross the channel again, fly over Hana and follow the north shore back to your point of origin. Tours routes vary due to weather conditions and some of the highlights above may inaccessible on any given tour. We suggest that passengers refrain from wearing strong fragrances for the comfort of others and wear dark shirts to reduce glare for photos.
